Taste of Randolph, the city’s most iconic street festival, celebrates its 20th Anniversary Friday, June 17th to Sunday June 19th. Today, Star Events, the West Loop Community Organization, and Silver Wrapper share the performance schedule for the 30+ DJs, bands, and artists that will be the sonic guide to a culinary adventure through the best food and drink Chicago has to offer. Taste of Randolph brings Chicago’s most delicious dining to the same street as the timeless Peter Bjorn & John, chillwave stars MS MR, and international indie shredders Atlas Genius. Some of Chicago’s hottest rising acts, The Ivory’s, Bailiff, Askasha, and Zaramela will also take the stage to celebrate Taste of Randolph’s 20th birthday. Attendees can dine on the decadence of Gus’ Fried Chicken, savor the delicious flavor of Hello Tacos, indulge in the refreshing sweetness of Cone Gourmet, all while dancing the night away to their favorite acts.
The festival begins Friday June 17th at 5PM and concludes Sunday June 19th at 10PM. VIP tickets are available for purchase and include access to VIP lounges, discounted drinks, and a plethora of useful amenities. All proceeds benefit the West Loop Community Organization.
Taste Of Randolph has teamed with Visit Denver to Build a hand carved, hand painted stage replica of the infamous Denver Red Rocks Amphitheater, itself celebrating its 75th Anniversary this year. The stage will feature national headliners who originated in Colorado as well as daily chances for festival attendees to win an all-expense paid trip to Denver, including tickets to a concert at Red Rocks.
On Sunday, June 19, local Chicago bands – Zaramela, Akasha, Bailiff, The Ivorys – will play the WXRT “Road to Red Rocks” show, on the Denver Live on the Rocks Stage, to win a chance to perform at the real Red Rocks Amphitheater in July.
Taste of Randolph announce full lineup additions and share daily lineups. The music acts for 2016 are unprecedented in the world of street festivals. Headliners include legends Peter Bjorn & John, Australian fan-favorites Atlas Genius, and international phenomena MS MR and Colorado based DeVotchKa. In addition to the fabulous headliners, Taste of Randolph will feature international talents as well as the nation’s hottest up and comers The Motet, Cornmeal, SunSquabi, The Record Company, and 30+ artists and DJs will provide the soundtrack to festival attendees cuisine extravaganza. Taste of Randolph has added a new wave of artists to the three-day auditory and culinary journey. New artists include Judah and the Lion, Soak, Dead Ships, Ravyn Lenae, FlightWave, Carla Prather, Saving Forever and Intonation.

Silver Wrapper has curated a list of the nation’s hottest up-and-coming bands and musicians, as well as the biggest names in Chicago house music, performing on two stages and a DJ stage, to entertain guests on their culinary adventure. Taste of Randolph benefits the West Loop Community Organization, which has been advocating for the West Loop neighborhood since 1991, supporting local businesses and economic development.

The two wings of the scale reproduction will each stand some 70 feet long and 30 feet high, and will be hand-sculpted and hand-painted to mimic the venue’s iconic monoliths and red sandstone striations.
